Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs): tax-free gifts today from individual retirement accounts
If you are at least 70½ years old, you are eligible to make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from a traditional or Roth IRA. Distributions to the University will be excluded from federal income in the year of the gift. The maximum is $105,000 per person.
You may contribute your QCD gift to the University to benefit any school, hospital, or program.
The transfer counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
